When you put yourself above them
Hold you head so high, you can't see the ground
When taking an examination of the heart,
humility can't be found

Then go stand beside the ocean
And let yourself feel small
Look up at the sky and to the heavens
And realize you're not so tall

Listen to the hum of the world around you
And hear you're not so loud
Step down from the place you think you stand
And ask yourself why you're so proud
